Removing RAB from the Sagar-Rooney murder probe is the Request

 Sagar-Rooney will appeal Security Security's RAB.

The prosecution has requested that the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) be taken out of the inquiry into the killings of Meherun Runi and Sagar Sarwar, two journalists.

On Monday, September 30, the petition was brought before the Justice Farah Mahbub-led High Court panel. A three-person task group under the Home Ministry has also been instructed to look into the event concurrently. Hearings are planned for today.

Previously, in the Sagar-Runi murder case, Nowsher Ali Roman, the plaintiff in the case and Runi's brother, originally hired attorney Shishir Monir. Attorney Shishir Monir stated that the state is in charge of carrying out criminal prosecutions. However, there is a provision that allows a victim or complaint to designate.
